Lukashenko at Khatyn Memorial Complex museum: the fire of war must never again scorch our peaceful home

The museum in the memorial complex is aimed to keep the memory of the tragedy of the Belarusian people, whom fascism tried to destroy for their rebelliousness and desire to live on their land – as the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, wrote on March 22nd in the Book of Honoured Guests of the Khatyn Memorial Complex

“What you see inside the walls of the museum is amazing. The pain and horror of innocent people inspire us to do everything so that the fire of war never again scorches our peaceful home,” the Head of State added.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also sincerely thanked everyone who took part in the reconstruction of Khatyn – the implementation of a unique and truly popular project.

“Come here as often as you can. Bring your children and grandchildren. Let them know the heroic truth and the terrible price that was paid for the future of future generations. After all, as soon as we forget the way to the tragic and holy places for us, trouble may again be at the threshold,” the President wrote.
