Lukashenko approved appointment of new Director General of BelNPP

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has approved today the appointment of Sergei Bobovich, who previously worked as Belenergo’s Deputy Director General, to the position of Director General of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant Republican Unitary Enterprise

The country’s two districts also acquired new heads. Sergei Yegorov – who until this day headed the Agriculture and Food Committee of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee – will become the Chairman of the Vitebsk District Executive Committee. The position of Chairman of the Molodechno District Executive Committee was taken by Pavel Gubko, who worked as the First Deputy Chairman of the Molodechno District Executive Committee.

The Belarusian Head of State today also agreed to the appointment of Valery Verenich as First Deputy Transport and Communications Minister. Previously, he headed the Baranovichi branch of the Belarusian Railway.

Military Commissar for the Mogilev Region Vitaly Yadevich has been agreed to the post of member of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee. Moreover, Tatiana Mikolenko was appointed judge of the CIS Economic Court, and Igor Zolotar was appointed Head of the Logistics Department of the CSTO Joint Staff. The President of Belarus also agreed to the appointment of Sergei Zaitsev as Head of the Department for the Management of Military Security Problems of the CSTO Secretariat.
