Kochanova on election campaign preparation: people understand how important this period is for our country

Belarus is actively preparing for an important electoral period, and people understand how important this is for our country – as stated by Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Kochanova during a meeting with the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko

The Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament noted that Belarus is actively preparing for an important electoral period, “This is politically important for all of us. I want to say that local authorities, governors and local executive authorities are actively involved in this work. It is worth noting that our public organisations and political parties have also joined this process.”

According to Natalya Kochanova, people understand how important this period is for the country, “We’re now monitoring the situation that is developing on the ground, what problems and issues there are. Moreover, during the election campaign, our candidates for deputies always talk about those issues in which they will help our voters. We’re also monitoring these issues.”
