Karabakh separatists surrendered to Azerbaijan
The Defence Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan has reported that, taking into account the appeals of representatives of the Armenian residents of Karabakh, an agreement was reached to suspend local anti-terrorist activities, Day.az reports
The appeals of representatives of Armenian residents were received through the Russian peacekeeping contingent. It is noted that the formations of the Armenian Armed Forces and illegal Armenian armed formations stationed in the Karabakh Region of the Republic of Azerbaijan are surrendering their weapons, leaving combat positions and military posts and completely disarming.
In addition, units of the Armenian Armed Forces are leaving the territory of Azerbaijan, and illegal Armenian armed formations are being disbanded. In parallel, all weapons and heavy equipment are being surrendered.
It is clarified that the implementation of these processes is provided in co-ordination with the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
