Iran presented latest strategic ballistic missile with powerful warhead

The Ministry of Defence of Iran has presented the latest version of Khorramshahr strategic long-range ballistic missile – Kheibar, RIA Novosti reports

The Minister of Defence and Support of the Armed Forces of Iran, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, said, “On the way to improving the missile capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we have presented the Khorramshahr-4 strategic ballistic missile, which is an upgrade of previous models.”

The official added that the missile is immune to EW attacks and enemy air defence systems. Moreover, it can use various types of high explosive warheads, it is mobile and its range makes 2,000km.
