Last year, the Belarusian Automobile Association (BAA) members sold 25,408 cars in Belarus, Director of BAA-Consult Dmitry Yarota told reporters
“In 2023, BAA members sold 25,408 cars – 47.5 percent up against the 2022 level,” he added.
According to him, last year, 21,761 passenger cars were sold, and the number of light commercial vehicles sold stood at 3,647.
“In 2023, 78 car models of 20 brands were sold, with Chinese vehicles taking the lion’s share: 82.6 percent. Of these, Geely sales accounted for about 90 percent,” noted Dmitry Yarota.
As far as electric vehicles are concerned, according to Dmitry Yarota, 422 units were sold – a growth of 667 percent compared to 2022.
