Humanitarian aid heads to Syria

In line with the Council of Minister’s resolution, Belarus has sent humanitarian aid to Syria – as reported by the Emergencies Ministry

It’s been informed that the cargo – scheduled to arrive at the seaport of Latakia in October – includes Belarus-made products: medicines, sugar, transformers, chassis, trucks, a concrete mixer truck, a dump truck and a MAZ truck tractor.

The Emergencies Ministry employees co-ordinated all works since they have extensive experience in managing humanitarian missions: aid has been provided for over 70 times.

Over the recent years, this is fifth humanitarian mission to Syria.
