Gulevich: peacekeeping forces in great demand in modern world
The Combat Brotherhood-2023 CSTO exercise acquired a new flavour with the participation of naval forces – as stated by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, First Deputy Defence Minister Viktor Gulevich, according to the Telegram channel of the Belarusian defence department
Commenting on the manoeuvres, Viktor Gulevich noted, “The friendship and interaction between the military personnel of our countries is growing and strengthening. The dynamics of events that took place on the combat training field showed that the troops had reached a high level of interaction and could successfully carry out their assigned tasks.”
He added that peacekeeping forces are in great demand in the modern world, “Peacemakers are those people who achieve peace. This is really very important for any country where conflict may break out.”
