Erdogan: UN Security Council once again failed in its duties
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the UN Security Council once again failed in its duties in the situation in the Middle East, RIA Novosti reports
According to Mr. Erdogan, the UN Security Council did not take any steps to resolve the situation, but ‘added fuel to the fire’. The Turkish leader said the international media had also joined the race to justify the killing of people through their tendentious and hypocritical publications.
“The bombing of innocent people migrating to so-called safe zones, border outposts, mosques, schools and peaceful settlements is among the war crimes we have witnessed over the past twelve days," Mr. Erdogan said.
The Turkish President added that his country will continue to seek a ceasefire, and then stability.
