Topical issues of bilateral co-operation, especially in agriculture and industry, were discussed at the meeting. The diplomat expressed interest in establishing joint ventures in Egypt using Belarusian experience and technologies, noting that the parties need to make more active use of existing potential. The parties also confirmed their readiness for further joint work.
Oleg Dikun also held a number of other meetings with representatives of countries and regions. He, in particular, discussed the supplies of Belarusian food and non-food products to retail chains of the Kamchatka Territory of Russia in the format of a video conference, following up on the agreements reached in September 2025 during the visit of the Belarusian delegation led by Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Artur Karpovich. At a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to the Russian Federation and to the Republic of Belarus concurrently, Koma Jehu-Appiah, Oleg Dikun stressed the high importance of this country for the development of trade and economic co-operation with Africa. The supplies of fruits and cocoa beans from Ghana, as well as agricultural machinery and fertilisers from Belarus were discussed. Yaroslav Kovalchuk, a representative of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, presented the possibilities of the exchange mechanism in trade between Belarus and African countries.
In talks with Toufik Djouama, Algeria's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia with concurrent accreditation to Belarus, the parties discussed the implementation of agreements reached in December 2025 during the visit of President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko to Algeria. Special attention was paid to joint economic projects, increasing trade turnover, strengthening ties between business circles, as well as co-operation in healthcare and education.
