EDB will finance at least 30 projects in 2024

The Eurasian Development Bank will finance at least 30 projects in 2024 – as informed by Nikolai Podguzov, the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank

Commenting on the results of the bank’s operation in 2023, Mr. Podguzov said, “We plan to invest about $2.3bn in 2024 and finance at least 30 projects.” According to him, in 2024, the bank's current investment portfolio will reach $6.1bn. “The bank's net profit is expected to amount to more than $60m, and the implementation of key investment megaprojects worth more than $1.2bn is the priority until 2026.”

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) is an international financial organisation with an authorised capital of $7bn, designed to promote the economic growth of the participating states, expand trade and economic ties between them and develop integration processes in the Eurasian space through investment activities.
