E-visa available at airport upon arrival in Indonesia

The Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Indonesia has officially launched a service enabling foreigners to obtain an e-visa upon arrival, RIA Novosti reports

Tourists can now fill out a visa application both before and after arriving in Indonesia. As a result, travellers’ documents can be issued within five minutes, avoiding long queues at border checkpoints. To do this, any device with Internet access is needed.

"The e-VoA system can now be fully used by foreigners who want to visit Indonesia," the Acting Director General of Immigration, Widodo Ekatjahjana, said.

The new service will be available to passport holders from 46 countries, including Russia.
