Readers of the German edition of Die Welt actively discuss the interview of American journalist Tucker Carlson with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, RIA Novosti reports
“Everything Putin says sounds logical and reasonable! Russia wanted to join NATO but was refused. This fact speaks volumes. The entire world is with Russia today and stands for neutral Ukraine! No more weapons for Ukraine,” one of the commentators remarked.
Another reader supported him, stressing that the West is deliberately spreading rumours about an alleged possible war with Russia.
“It is becoming increasingly hard to convince the population that we must transfer almost all our tax money to Ukraine for new weapons so that Putin doesn't show up at your door tomorrow,” another commentator added.
“Putin's interview without frames and abbreviations opens people’s eyes to the current situation in the world,” another reader stressed.
