Czech Republic invited EU energy ministers for emergency meeting

The Czech Republic – which is currently presiding over the European Union – has convened an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers on Energy for September 30th, TASS reports with reference to the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade, Jozef Sikela

According to the ČTK Agency, the ministers will discuss the proposals of the European Commission on limiting energy prices in the EU. The previous meeting of the energy officials took place on September 9th, and the parties discussed then the ways out of Europe's energy crisis.

“Following an agreement with the EC and other EU member states, I decided that – at the end of September in Brussels – we will complete what we started [to solve] last week,” Mr. Sikela said.
