Chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus, UAE’s Fujairah sign co-operation agreement
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) and the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the UAE have signed a co-operation agreement, sb.by reports with reference to the BelCCI
The Belarusian delegation headed by BelCCI Chairman Mikhail Myatlikov, including representatives of the companies represented at the Belarus. The Taste of Nature exposition at Gulfood in Dubai, after a successful opening headed to the Emirate of Fujairah, where a meeting was held with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the UAE region. Negotiations were held, which resulted in the signing of a co-operation agreement. In addition, the Belarusian side made presentations of its enterprises and organisations, products and services for potential partners.
“We have agreed within the framework of the signed agreement that we will host a business mission from the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Belarus in early June. Most likely, it will be during Belagro exhibition,” Mr. Myatlikov emphasised.
The Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the UAE was established in 1981. Its objectives include the development of commercial, industrial and agricultural activities in the emirate, co-ordination with concerned departments in the emirate, representing the members of the chamber in all issues related to commerce, industry and agriculture, as well as protecting the interests of the members, and strengthening ties between them. The CCI is also responsible for promoting co-operation with similar organisations in the UAE and abroad.
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is Belarus’ largest business association, uniting over 2,600 Belarusian companies representing almost all segments of the economy: from legal consulting and logistics to food production, textiles and heavy machinery.
