Minsk City Executive Committee Chairman left for Zimbabwe

Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev headed to Zimbabwe to take part in the state visit of the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, to this African country – as reported by the Minsk City Executive Committee’s press service

The programme of the visit includes the participation of Vladimir Kukharev in the 2nd Belarusian-Zimbabwean business forum Expanding Horizons: Dynamic Solutions for Economic Development, as well as in personal negotiations between the presidents of Belarus and Zimbabwe – Aleksandr Lukashenko and Emmerson Mnangagwa.

In January-November 2022, the trade turnover between the two countries totalled $32.1m – seeing an increase of 5.2 times. The main exporter of the Belarusian capital for deliveries to Zimbabwe is the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ).
