Cairo hosted 2nd meeting of Belarus-Egypt working group on co-operation in agriculture
As part of the 7th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Trade Commission, the 2nd meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian working group on co-operation in agriculture was held in Cairo – as reported by the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry’s press service
During the meeting, the parties discussed a range of issues on co-operation, including increasing mutual trade of agricultural products between countries, agricultural mechanisation, agricultural education, training and retraining of personnel, and also considered interaction in the field of agricultural science, issues of veterinary medicine and the supply of fish products to the Republic of Belarus, as well as approval of BelHalal certificates.
The working group included representatives of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, the Industry Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences, Gosstandart, BelHalal, Belgospishcheprom Concern, the Spartak and Kommunarka confectioneries.
Following the working meeting, a protocol was signed.
