BSMU awarded Medical University Award based on results of IAAR assessment
According to the results of an expert assessment by an Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), the Belarusian State Medical University was awarded the Medical University Award – as reported in the press service of the educational institution
The IAAR Eurasian University Ranking (IAAR EUR) international rating was developed by the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency. It is aimed at a comprehensive assessment of the quality of the activities of higher educational institutions, taking into account the international methodological standards for building IREG (Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence), standards for conducting empirical research and promoting the integration of universities into the global educational and world research space.
The rating methodology is based on the observance of the principles of transparency, objectivity, verifiability and availability of information sources. It was approved by international experts based on the results of an international audit by IREG.
“One of the main activities of the Belarusian State Medical University is participation in international university rankings, which enhances the image of the leading medical institution of higher education in our country, its recognition in the international educational arena,” the BSMU press service noted. “BSMU is constantly working to improve the image of the university in the global educational space. Achieving the goals set contributes to increasing the attractiveness of obtaining higher medical education among foreign citizens at BSMU and, accordingly, increasing the export of educational services.”
