Brylo: in 2022, exports of foodstuffs and agricultural raw materials up by 24.2% to reach $8.3bn

Thanks to the efforts of rural workers, as well as systemic measures of state support, last year, the agro-industrial complex achieved good results, completely satisfying the domestic market’s needs and increasing export supplies of food – as stated by Agriculture and Food Minister of Igor Brylo during the ministry’s meeting dedicated to 2022 results of work

Gross output in farms across all categories in comparable prices increased by 3.6 percent against 2021. Exports of foodstuffs and agricultural raw materials grew by 24.2 percent and reached $8.3bn – up by almost $1.6bn. Their share in the country’s total exports made up about 22 percent. Despite the sanctions pressure, food was supplied to 100 countries of the world.
