BelGee to produce 37,000 cars in 2022

BelGee JSC plans to produce 37,000 cars this year – as informed by Belarus’ Industry Minister Piotr Parkhomchik, BelTA reports

In 2021, BelGee completed the renewal of its model range, also producing the 100-thousandth car. In line with its electric transport development programme, the company marketed the first batch of fifty electric cars and, in 2022, it plans to offer 1,000 electric vehicles of the Geometry C model to the market.

Components to the company are provided by the Borisov Geely Engine Factory, Belshina JSC and 1AK-GROUP. “The company's strategy is to use components manufactured on the territory of the Union State, as stipulated by the Belarusian-Russian co-operation programmes,” Mr. Parkhomchik noted.

According to the Industry Minister, countries such as Moldova, Serbia and Kazakhstan are demonstrating a special interest in BelGee vehicles.
