According to Gennady Svidersky, the Geely EX2 model is scheduled for launch in November 2025, “We will showcase it at the Motorshow on October 15th. We believe the model will suit both legal entities for business purposes and individuals as a second car.”
In 2025, the company approved a plan to produce four models, three of them are exclusively electric and one hybrid — BelGee X80 PHEV, equipped with a traction electric motor and an internal combustion engine.
“We believe it will be the most popular model in the Union State market. We’ve undertaken great efforts to manufacture this model using domestic resources, to put it into mass production. The model has been available since September 25th at all dealerships in Belarus. For the Russian market, this car will also be available from the second half of next year or slightly earlier. The Geely EX5 model was launched this year. We see stable demand. It is a family car. It’s clearly a car for the masses. Based on pre-orders and initial sales, the BelGee X80 PHEV hybrid is becoming a vehicle for masses in terms of its use in the Union State. We have high hopes from it,” the BelGee Director General noted.
According to Gennady Svidersky, 2025 has marked the start of EV manufacturing, emphasising that production can only be effective when there are no restrictions on sales markets and highlighting that the Union State needs to develop harmonised requirements.
