Belarusian, Azerbaijani FMs discuss Middle East situation in phone call

Maxim Ryzhenkov expressed concern about the escalation in the Middle East over the Nakhchivan incident, noting it poses a high risk of the conflict spreading and involving other countries. The Belarusian diplomat conveyed sincere support to the Azerbaijani leadership and the friendly people of the country.
Azerbaijan’s FM briefed his counterpart on the recent developments in the region, consequences of the drone attack, and actions the country is taking.
Both parties noted the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region, as well as the significance of diplomatic instruments in the settlement process.
