Belarus, UAE discuss co-operation in the field of protection of population and territories from emergencies

Belarus’ Emergencies Minister Vadim Sinyavsky has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Belarus Ibrahim Salim Mohammed al-Musharrah – as reported in the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry’s press service

Vadim Sinyavsky presented the main tasks and successfully implemented areas of activity of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry, and also indicated Belarus’ readiness to share best practices in a number of areas, including training rescuers and educating the population in the basics of security.

The UAE Ambassador to Belarus noted the friendly nature of interstate relations between the two countries, conforming the Emirati readiness to provide comprehensive support to Belarus in various areas of bilateral co-operation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the main areas of Belarusian-Emirati liaisons and noted the need to give practical impetus to bilateral interaction in the field of protecting the population and territories from emergencies.

Following the meeting, Vadim Sinyavsky invited the diplomat to get acquainted with the educational opportunities of the Civil Protection University of the Emergencies Ministry, as well as to visit the Security Education Centre under the Emergencies Ministry to get acquainted with the Belarusian experience in building culture of life safety.
