Belarus ranked 46th in UNIDO’s CIP Index

Belarus is ranked 46th out of 154 countries in the Competitive Industrial Performance Index (CIS) that is compiled by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation– according to the data published by the National Statistical Committeeof Belarus

According to the information provided, the top-5 include such countries as Germany, China, Ireland, Japan and the Republic of Korea. Among the CIS member states, the leaders are the Russian Federation (35th place), Belarus (46th), Kazakhstan (63rd), Ukraine (69th) and Uzbekistan (89th).

Moreover, the National Statistical Committee published information on the macroeconomic indicators of industry in 2022. GDP showed an increase of 28.3 percent (total), in the number of employees the growth was registered at the level of 23.8 percent while the volume of exports of goods saw an increase of 93.6.
