Belarus’ National Bank released commemorative coin dedicated to 900th anniversary of St. Euphrosyne Convent
The National Bank of Belarus has released commemorative coins dedicated to the 900th anniversary of Polotsk’s St. Euphrosyne Stavropegic Convent, sb.by reports with reference to the National Bank’s website
The National Bank has issued three coins: a silver coin with a face value of Br100 and a circulation of 550 pieces; a silver coin with a face value of Br20 and a circulation of 2,500 pieces; and a copper-nickel coin with a face value of Br1 and a circulation of 4,500 pieces.
The coins are circular, with a protruding edge on the obverse and reverse. The side surface of the coins is notched. They were minted at the Kazakhstan Mint of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The National Bank noted that coins in circulation are legal tender and must be accepted at face value for all types of payment, with no restrictions.
