Belarus’ gold and foreign currency reserves increased by 2.7% in January 2023

As of February 1^st, the international reserve assets of Belarus made $8,142.8m in equivalent – according to preliminary data, the National Bank reports

In January, gold and foreign currency reserves increased by $213.3m (2.7 percent) after an increase of $131.8m (1.6 percent) in December 2022.

According to the National Bank, since last August, data on the volume of international reserve assets has been posted on its official website without detailing their structure and indication of the factors that influenced their change.
