Belarus discussed bilateral ties with Korea
On occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea, Andrei Popkov, has met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea for Political Affairs, Yeo Seung Bae – as informed by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
The sides exchanged information on the current state of Belarusian-Korean co-operation in the political, economic and innovation spheres, and also reviewed the schedule of bilateral visits. Special attention was paid to discussion of the events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Korea next year.
The diplomats also shared their views on the situation in Northeast Asia, including ways to ensure sustainable peace on the Korean Peninsula.
