Belarus, Brazil discussed co-operation in the field of aviation

Belavia CEO met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Belarus, Bernard Klingl, to discuss Belarus-Brazil co-operation in the aviation sector under conditions of a difficult global situation in the world, Belavia’s Telegram channel reports

The diplomat expressed hope that the foreign policy rhetoric regarding Belavia will change and the airline will be able to resume liaisons with its partners in Brazil. There have been established good contacts in this direction.

"Before the sanctions were imposed, Belavia and the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer had been co-operating for eight years. Back in early 2021, the Belarusian air carrier successfully operated 14 aircraft of this aerostructure conglomerate," the Belarusian airline recalled.

Mr. Klingl stressed, “We hope for a change in the situation for the better and are ready to provide you with all possible support."
