Belarus, Armenia ready to continue liaisons
Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister, Igor Nazaruk, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Belarus, Razmik Khumaryan – as informed by the Foreign Ministry’s press service
During the meeting, the sides discussed in detail all aspects of Belarusian-Armenian co-operation, also focusing on the issues of interaction within the framework of integration formats.
Special attention was paid to the prospects of expanding supplies of Belarusian food, passenger and utility machinery to Armenia. Inter-parliamentary co-operation issues were also high on the agenda.
The sides exchanged views on the settlement of the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict and unblocking economic co-operation in the South Caucasus region. They also discussed issues of mutual support of Minsk and Yerevan within the framework of international organisations.
