Belarus’ Ambassador presented credentials to President of Zimbabwe

On April 30th, Yuri Nikolaichik, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Zimbabwe, presented his credentials to Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa, sb.by reports citing Belarus’ Foreign Ministry

After the official ceremony, a private meeting took place during which both sides discussed the full range of issues on the Belarus-Zimbabwe agenda, reaffirming the strategic level of partnership between Minsk and Harare, as well as their commitment to fostering constructive dialogue.

The Belarusian diplomat emphasised Minsk’s readiness to further enhance practical co-operation aimed at promoting sustainable economic development and prosperity in Zimbabwe.

In turn, Emmerson Mnangagwa highly appreciated Belarus’ contribution to his country’s development.

The President of Zimbabwe pointed out the considerable potential for expanding bilateral relations and expressed confidence in maintaining mutually beneficial interactions at all levels.

Particular focus was placed on implementing the strategic co-operation roadmap for 2026-2030, which includes joint projects in industrial liaisons, agricultural mechanisation and humanitarian efforts.

Additionally, Mr. Nikolaichik presented President Mnangagwa with an original congratulatory message from Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko on the occasion of Zimbabwe’s Independence Day.
