Belarus’ agricultural exports account for 17 percent

The share of agricultural products in Belarus' exports made about 17 percent – as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food’s Telegram channel

As informed, from January-July 2021, Belarusian organisations exported $3.5bn of food products and agricultural raw materials – almost 10 percent more than in the same period last year. Currency earnings rose by $309m against the 2020 figures, ensuring a positive foreign trade balance of $1.1bn.

The Ministry reported that the export structure is formed on the basis of external demand. Accordingly, sales of certain goods may decrease against an increase in volumes of other products.
