Bashkortostan keen to develop industrial co-operation with Belarus

Bashkortostan is interested in developing industrial co-operation with Belarus, Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation of the Republic of Bashkortostan Aleksandr Sheldyaev told reporters

“We have always been interested in co-operation, with representatives of our industrial enterprises visiting Belarus and exploring opportunities for interaction. We see good opportunities for liaisons across various areas.”

According to him, collaboration is actively developing in machine building and in light industry.

“We will have a light industry forum in late October, and we’re waiting for a delegation from Belarus. We’re actively working across all areas.”

The grand opening of the Amkodor-Agidel grain drying plant took place in Bashkortostan, with the participation of Belarus PM Roman Golovchenko. It is located on the territory of the Ufimsky Industrial Park. They plan to produce up to 40 such complexes per year. About 500 jobs will be created at the production facility.
