The fine makes $1m. The ATP has also threatened the LTA with an exclusion, if it again does not allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to the grass major in 2023.

Earlier, the Women's Tennis Association fined the Lawn Tennis Association of Great Britain and the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for a total of $1m for the same reason.

The LTA said it was deeply disappointed by the decisions of the ATP and WTA, as ‘the financial consequences of the fines will have a significant impact on the LTA's ability to develop tennis in the UK’.
