Andreichenko: election campaign entered its most active phase

The election campaigning has begun today in Belarus, and deputies are to get involved in working with international observers arriving in the republic and to provide all possible assistance in organising their activities – as informed by the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Vladimir Andreichenko

“Invitations to participate in the international monitoring of the parliamentary elections have been sent to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, and the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly. By now, Belarus’ Central Election Commission has already accredited more than 70 observers as part of the CIS mission, and the MPs are to assist them in their work. In the near future, I will also hold a meeting with all international observers who will be accredited as part of observer missions,” Mr. Andreichenko said.
