In a climate of trust, amity and mutual understanding, the sides expressed their determination to work together to strengthen and develop Belarusian-Omani co-operation and exchanged views on various international and regional matters of mutual interest.

The leaders of both countries discussed the progress on the agreements reached during mutual visits at the high and highest levels in 2024-2025 regarding food security, agriculture, industry, logistics, healthcare, tourism and culture.

The heads of states positively assessed the steps to increase bilateral trade, supplies of Belarusian consumer goods, industrial equipment, pharmaceuticals, veterinary drugs and other goods to the Sultanate of Oman, as well as Omani products of interest to Belarus.

Aleksandr Lukashenko and Haitham bin Tariq Al Said welcomed mutual efforts to fulfil joint projects in baby food and dairy, as well as assembling Belarusian equipment in Oman.

The leaders agreed that joint industrial co-operation projects being developed will have a positive impact on enhancing bilateral economic relations, given Oman’s capacities in logistics and the advantages of its upgrading infrastructure.

The sides reaffirmed their readiness to expand investment co-operation in agriculture, IT, and the furniture and pulp and paper industries.

The heads of state appreciated the signing of an agreement to establish a joint committee on co-operation and investment in May 2025, and expressed interest in launching it in the near future to co-ordinate joint actions by Belarusian and Omani agencies to fulfil bilateral agreements.

In addition, the parties placed an emphasis on the direct charter flights on the Minsk-Salalah-Minsk route, launched in February 2025, and stated both countries’ dedication to work together to increase the mutual flow of tourists.

The heads of state focused on developing co-operation in education and culture aimed at deepening bilateral ties and bringing the peoples of the two countries closer together.

The leaders emphasised the importance to establish and foster direct contacts between businessmen and mutual involvement in exhibitions and fairs, as well as holding national exhibitions in Belarus and Oman, and enhancing cultural exchanges. In this regard, they welcomed the signing of an agreement on mutual visa waiver.

Aleksandr Lukashenko and Haitham bin Tariq Al Said underscored the importance of creating a solid legal framework to further develop Belarusian-Omani relations in all areas, and welcomed the signing of bilateral documents during the visit.

Belarus and Oman also agreed the governments and the authorised sectoral ministries and organisations would develop and implement the necessary initiatives and practical action plans in line with the goals and principles of the joint statement.

The heads of state reaffirmed the their common approaches to key global and regional challenges, emphasising that acting in line with the UN Charter and international law is essential, and expressed their readiness to co-operate closely within international organisations and to work together to establish a multipolar, just and equitable international political and economic order. The leaders also condemned the use of unilateral coercive measures and sanctions.
