Adani Group plans to invest $100 billion in clean energy by 2030. The conglomerate’s five companies have set a goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Currently, Adani Group companies involved in the production of cement, servicing seaports and power generation are actively moving towards renewable energy sources while also electrifying manufacturing operations and introducing biofuels and thermal energy storage technologies.

The Adani Group, in collaboration with Ashok Leyland and Ballard Power, is actively working on developing a hydrogen truck and setting up clean hydrogen production facilities in Gujarat.

Indian PM Narendra Modi previously announced the country’s goal of becoming a global hub for the production, use and export of clean hydrogen as an alternative to traditional energy sources as part of efforts to achieve carbon neutrality. India plans to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2070.
