65 Belarusian women awarded Order of Mother

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, signed Decree No. 132 on awarding the Order of Mother, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

For giving birth and upbringing of five or more children, ladies from all walks of Belarusian life were awarded, including representatives of industrial and agro-industrial enterprises, the transport sphere, the housing and communal services, the forestry, consumer co-operation, trade and communications, educational institutions, healthcare, culture, the Armed Forces, as well as individual entrepreneurs and housewives.

In total, the Order of Mother has been conferred on 65 women from the Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Mogilev regions of Belarus and the city of Minsk.
