3rd CIS Games in 2025 will be held in Azerbaijan
The relevant information was confirmed by Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Azerbaijan Azer Aliyev during his visit to the Khatyn State Memorial – as reported by the press service of Belarus’ NOC
“The 3rd CIS Games will take place in Azerbaijan in two years. We have good experience in organising major international competitions: the 1st European Games, the European Youth Olympic Festival and others. Based on the experience of Belarus, we will try to hold competitions in the regions as well,” he said.
Tomorrow, on August 6th, the National Olympic Committee of Belarus will be hosting a meeting of the Council for Physical Culture and Sports of the Participants of the CIS Agreement on Co-operation in the Field of Physical Culture and Sports. The meeting will also discuss preparations for future competitions.
