According to her, today our country has achieved such a level in the field of development of electronic services that it can demonstrate its achievements and share experience on an international scale. This was confirmed by the 1st international digital forum #GBC (Government. Business. Citizens), which was held in Minsk last April.

“Last year, the 1st international digital forum #GBC was held under the leadership of the Operations and Analysis Centre under the President, with the help of the National Centre for Electronic Services and with the participation of the National Traffic Exchange Centre, alongside colleagues and partners. The event was a success, enjoying the interest of both Belarusian participants and foreign guests. As a result of the forum, a number of regional events were held, where the best digital solutions and achievements in various sectors of the country’s economy were presented: transport, industry, energy, and education.”

The large-scale event was continued and the 2nd international digital forum #GBC will take place this May.

“Representatives of state bodies and organisations of our country, as well as our foreign partners will also take part in it, who will share their achievements and draw on our experience,” noted Ms. Kochina.

The main goal of the forum is to present achievements and projects in the field of e-government and to search for new ways of digitalisation and interaction between the government, business and citizens (GBC) through information and communication technologies. #GBC is aimed to become a platform for discussing the state, development and prospects of Belarus’ digital future, transferring interactions at all levels to the digital plane.
