14th Eurasian Economic Forum around the corner

The 14th Eurasian Economic Forum will be held in-person on October 28th-29th in Verona – as informed by its organisers 

The forum will gather members of governments, political and public figures, heads of major companies and financial organisations, diplomats, experts and journalists from around the globe.

The most pressing issues related to development of trade and economic co-operation in Greater Eurasia will be discussed. Business meetings are also scheduled as part of the event.

A range of topics will be in focus during two days of the forum. The programme includes such issues as Development Strategy and Reliability of Energy Sources in the Global Ecological Transition; Greater Eurasian Partnership from the Atlantic to the Pacific: Is It Possible?; Natural Gas and the Green Economy; Ecological Transition and Circular Economy; New Challenges and Opportunities for the Financial and Banking Sector in a COVID-19 Pandemic; Technological Innovations and Digital Transition as Driving Forces for Inclusive and Sustainable Socioeconomic Development; The Pharmaceutical Industry Has Shown Extraordinary Resilience in the COVID-19 Environment Becoming One of the Drivers of Economic Development. How Long Will This Last?; and others.

The cultural programme envisages opening of the Incredible Adventures of Italians in Russia photo exhibition in the central square of Verona. It will tell visitors of the history of Italian immigrants’ work – such as building of the Kremlin and present-day projects – in Russia.

A concert of the A.V. Alexandrov Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army will take place at the Verona Philharmonic Theatre.
