Lukashenko offered Azerbaijan assistance in post-war reconstruction of territories
Belarus is ready to share its technologies in the post-war revival of the territories – as stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko during today’s expanded-format talks with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev
The Head of State underlined that revival and development of territories is the most difficult time after the war, “The time has come when it is necessary to revive these lands, it is necessary to return people. You’ve won; you’ve preserved your victory, now it’s necessary to restore everything.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko added that this requires a lot of work and time, adding that if the Belarusian side can help in some way and take an active part (in terms of supplying equipment, building agricultural towns and creating jobs), we are ready to share certain technologies. The Head of State admitted he had asked his colleague during the narrow-format negotiations to allow Belarus join this process, if possible.
The Azerbaijani side supported this idea.
