Vietnam, Belarus discussed further contacts

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vladimir Borovikov, met with members of the Vietnam-Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reports

As informed, the parties exchanged views on topical issues of co-operation between the two countries in various fields.

“Steps were considered to develop inter-parliamentary contacts bilaterally and on international platforms, including through ASEAN. An important role of deputies in the development of Belarus-Vietnam relations at the regional level was highlighted. The Chairman of the Vietnam–Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group, Nguyen Tuan Anh, conveyed sincere wishes of success in work and hope for an early meeting to his Belarusian colleagues,” the Foreign Ministry reported.
