As noted by the source, the British manufacturer has recently presented its first serial electric car: Spectre. The model, according to the company head, has become a turning point in the history of the brand. The Spectre does not have an internal combustion engine version, and it was originally developed as an electric car.

Actually, Rolls-Royce Spectre aims to change the attitude of the company's customers to electric cars and enhance their interest. There is simply no other way, since the automaker plans to produce all new models exclusively on electric traction from 2023 on.

Of course, all models with internal combustion engines will not immediately disappear: those already operating will finish their life cycle – to later be excluded from the model range. The company no longer plans to invest money in such cars.

Rolls-Royce presented its first Spectre electric car in October 2022. It is based on the Architecture of Luxury platform with complex extruded aluminium profiles and an integrated traction battery.
