Radio Pobeda broadcasting launched on 96.2 FM in Minsk

The Belarus Segodnya Publishing House has launched the Radio Pobeda [Victory] radio station on 96.2 FM in Minsk, playing war songs and famous melodies. The event coincides with the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory – the main symbol of the independence of a sovereign country and the victory of the Soviet people over fascism.

The Radio Pobeda offers songs from the war years, reports from the front narrated by the legendary Yuri Levitan, and stories of people who bravely fought, lived, hoped and finally won the Great Victory – a heroic victory paid for by millions of lives. Among the song performers are such iconic singers as Leonid Utesov, Klavdia Shulzhenko, Mark Bernes, Iosif Kobzon, the Pesnyary band, and others.

The radio station’s official website is www.radiopobeda.by, and the broadcast is also available in high quality on the first national radio player.
