President instructed to make revolutionary changes in construction sector

During his meeting with Minister of Architecture and Construction Ruslan Parkhamovich and Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak today, President Lukashenko instructed to make revolutionary changes in the construction sphere over the next six months

After the meeting, Mr. Parkhamovich shared its details with journalists. He said that Aleksandr Lukashenko’s main task was to make revolutionary changes in the construction sector within six months.

“The sphere was discussed substantially, in details. Following the results, the Head of State instructed to attentively study the issues of simplification in absolutely all areas of construction – including urban planning and permission documentation, construction support issues. We must make it possible for a person – who decides to get engaged into construction – to spend less time on receiving official approvals and to ensure that the result of construction depends mostly on this person rather than supervisory, controlling or co-ordinating bodies. Therefore, our task is to simplify the construction process as much as possible,” Mr. Parkhamovich said.

According to the Minister of Architecture and Construction, the sphere is supposed to be revolutionised in six months. “The changes planned for the coming six months will be revolutionary, innovative. These will not be individual changes to normative acts but the all-around general work over a package of documents,” he said.

Mr. Parkhamovich added that simplification of the construction process is also planned. “This will refer to contractors, customers, designers, and urban planners. These changes will primarily be aimed to get the construction result as simply and as quickly as possible,” he explained.
