President congratulated staff of Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre on 90th anniversary of its foundation

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the staff of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre on the 90th anniversary of its establishment

As the Head of State noted, the Bolshoi Theatre is a bright pearl of domestic and world classical culture. “Your legendary stage is a living embodiment of the extraordinary talent of the Belarusian people, their subtle sense of beauty and sincere musical soul. Numerous opera and ballet stars were born here and took their first steps, famous choreographers and directors created their excellent performances, and world celebrities took it as an honour to perform," the congratulatory message reads.

According to the President, this professional bar – raised high by several generations – is preserved with dignity by the modern theatre staff. “I am sure that you will continue to work selflessly in the future to enrich our cultural heritage and the prosperity of your beloved Motherland," the Belarusian leader stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the theatre staff creative inspiration, amazing premieres, sold-out performances in Belarus and abroad, as well as health and well-being.
