The sports teams competed for the title of champions in the Kazakh city of Karaganda, from September 1st-5th. Firemen and rescuers from nine countries – the Czech Republic, Russia, Poland, Belarus, Austria, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Slovakia – showed their mettle in climbing assault ladder on 2 and 4 floors of training tower, overcoming a 100m obstacle course, a 4x100m fire relay race and live deployment.

The Belarusians were placed first in the most prestigious event – the relay – winning gold in this discipline for the first time in 13 years! In other sports, our rescuers and firemen also performed brilliantly, capturing silver and bronze medals. As a result, our team topped the overall standings.
