Moscow, Kiev exchanged prisoners of war under 185x185 formula

Russia and Ukraine have conducted a prisoner of war exchange: 185 Russian servicemen were returned from Ukrainian territory, and the same number of Ukrainian soldiers were returned to Kiev, TASS reports

According to the Russian Defence Ministry, 20 civilians were also returned from the Ukrainian side. It is reported that the prisoner of war exchange took place as part of the Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached on July 23rd, 2025 in Istanbul.
