The International Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk Festival of Arts will be held for the 32nd time on July 12th-17th, and – as informed by State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev – Days of the Union State will be held within its framework, as is traditional

“In co-operation with Belarusian partners, the Government, the Culture Ministry and the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, we are holding three days of the Union State as part of the festival programme. We want to give people emotions. Several concerts are planned at the Philharmonic halls, as well as a festival of twin districts of the Pskov and Vitebsk regions,” Mr. Mezentsev said.

The State Secretary of the Union State added, “We want to organise a round table discussion on the tasks of heads of universities operating in the field of culture and art, heads of theatre and creative troupes, who are doing a lot today and can form even more promising and meaningful plans – so that we confirm Slavic traditions, understand how deep and large-scale our culture is, and that it cannot be banned by any decisions of Western leaders. It enriches our people.”

On July 12th-17th, Belarus’ northern capital will host the main musical event of the summer: 32nd International Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk Festival of Arts. The Belarusian TV and Radio Company will spend all the festival days together with residents and guests of the city and cover all the planned concerts and competition programmes.
