The preparation for the upcoming parliamentary elections was among the topics for discussion during today’s meeting, and the Head of State said, “You have a set of problems that will need to be monitored during the preparation and conduct of these elections. We will discuss them more specifically at tomorrow’s meeting with representatives of the parties, which have been registered and which – as I understand it – intend to participate in the parliamentary elections.”

“We have openly said that we will participate in these elections in every possible way; I mean the vertical of power. It is a very important campaign in Belarus, and there will be no more important political campaign next year," the Belarusian leader stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko reminded that, after the elections, it will be necessary to form the Belarusian People's Congress and elect its delegates.
